Diocesan Youth Retreat 2024

What a blast the youth had at the 2024 Diocesan Youth Retreat hosted at Camp MokulÄ“Ê»ia! With a mix of youth from 4 islands (OÊ»ahu, KauaÊ»i, the Island of HawaiÊ»i, and Maui) and 11 churches (including Episcopalian, United Methodist, Salvation Army, and a Non denominational church), the youth dove into making new friends as soon as they arrived. Our 9th and 10th grade Leaders in Training practiced their facilitating skills by leading name games, get-to-know you games and team builders. Along with paddling the multi person paddle boards, smiling, fishing, zip lining, laughing, playing, and more smiling, the youth learned how God calls us to "Be Different: Believe differently, Act/React differently, Love differently, Return/Go different".

Keep a look out for our 2025 Diocesan Youth Retreat Spring Dates!

Until then, our staff can't wait to welcome all the youth back for summer camp in June or July!

Who is Erin Wolf?

Erin “Ernie” Wolf serves as the Executive Director of EpiscoWisco Camp, as well as the Diocesan Youth Networking Coordinator for all three Episcopal dioceses in Wisconsin.

Camp has been a staple in Erin’s life since age 9, and as a teen, began serving on camp staff in a variety of roles and is thrilled to still be serving God in this way! She’s learned from many amazing staffers along the way, including the Diocese of Hawai’i’s own Liz Krueger (Isaiah & Josie’s mom) and her mom, Val.

Erin served as a youth minister in a couple local congregations before entering camp & diocesan ministry full-time in 2022. She loves getting to visit students & communities around Wisconsin in this role. She’s also had the chance to be on teams for both Province V Youth Events and Episcopal Youth Events, including EYE23, where she got to meet and work with the delegation from Hawai’i! She also serves on an Interim Body for General Convention (the governing body of the Episcopal Church) that covers ecumenical & interfaith work.

Outside of ministry, Erin is a community manager and regular contributor for the global songwriting community, Song A Week. Most importantly, though, Erin’s greatest blessing is being Mamalorian to four incredible Younglings: Jorden (16), Lucy (14), Charlie (11), and Jonah (9). Things they think you need to know about their mum:

“She’s funny… but usually on accident.”

-Lucy

“She’s very musical.”

-Charlie

“She likes puns and dad jokes, but as a mom.”

-Jorden

“She’s funny and likes puns, and she’s really good at being a musical camp singer.”
-Jonah
